Our Mission

Our Mission is to serve the community with delicious, yummy food from western region of India (Maharashtra). Maharashtra has very authentic, traditional food and healthy food recipes which are passed down for generations. Our aim is to make that authentic taste available commercially at very affordable price. Maharashtra is also very famous for its Street food and we will be bringing the combination of sweet, sour, chilly flavors to pamper your taste buds.

Amruta Deshpande



 Amruta Deshpande, is originally from Kohlapur, Maharashtra and has lived in different part of America for past 15 years.She has bachelors degree in computer science and has left her teaching career to be part of Marathi Tadka team. Amruta is very passionate about cooking and dreams of introducing everyone to the vibrant culture of India through her food. She enjoys making fresh, healthy food. Some of her specialties are Kolhapuri chicken, Tambda , Pandhara rassa, Indo-chinese food and many more marathi delicacies like Misal Pav, Surali wadi, Sabudana vada. Amruta is very excited to bring something new to you every week.


Aparna Padhye


Aparna Padhye, an artist and a computer engineer has a strong interest in preserving and spreading Indian culture through art and food! She enjoys cooking, eating and serving authentic, traditional food. Aparna’s travelling all over the world has helped her to grow different perspectives towards food. She has always dreamt of having authentic Maharashtrian food available in all the places she travels. And this food venture is first step towards making her dream come true.
